Waterproof Outdoor PoE Switch with extra-high range and no need for AC power thanks to PoE Passthrough - great for network cameras. This PoE-Powered 5-Port Gigabit Switch from Intellinet Network Solutions is designed to take power from a PoE switch or injector and pass both data and electrical power directly to a number of PoE-compatible devices via standard Ethernet cables. Equipped with five Gigabit ports, it can power up to four IP video cameras or wireless access points, drawing its own power from the PoE switch it is connected to, and delivers network speeds of up to 1,000 Mbps. Its high range and weatherproof housing are especially useful for outdoor surveillance camera deployments, where both power and data connectivity are critical. As opposed to traditional 1-port outdoor PoE extenders, this 4-output switch simplifies the expansion of your outdoor infrastructure as needed for easier scalability of your network.

Designed for Outdoor Use: While you can power it from an indoor source, this outdoor PoE+ switch offers benefits where traditional indoor switches are not suitable, especially for longer-distance applications in a wide variety of environments. Its weatherproof IP65 (waterproof and dustproof) rating and a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 80ºC (-40 to 176ºF) make it able to withstand even the harshest conditions like rain, snow, dust, and extreme heat.

Usable as a PoE extender for reduced wiring costs: Thanks to its PoE passthrough technology that extends a PoE connection, this versatile unit doubles the range between PoE source and device from 100 m (328 ft.) to 200 m (656 ft.). Using it this way also avoids the expense of running AC power lines to an outdoor device. Simply connect the switch to a PSE in your network through existing Cat5e/6/6a cables to deliver DC power as well as transfer data.

Power over Ethernet 802.3bt Compliant: This switch supports the IEEE 802.3bt protocol over four pairs (4PPoE), allowing for a power input up to 90 W. It forwards data at Gigabit speeds and offers up to 30 watts per port to connected IEEE 802.3at- or IEEE 802.3af-compliant devices.

Wall-mount and pole-mount option: For full installation flexibility, you can mount the switch on the wall or a pole through its built-in bracket with mounting holes.
