Description
MOCKMILL - Long-Lasting - PROFESSIONAL 200. Mill builder Wolfgang Mock knows what a lover of whole foods needs, as he lives and grinds with his own mills every day. The PROFESSIONAL 200 is the result of decades of experience in mill construction and a keen sense of design.
Well-thought-out material combination and housing shape: The mill body is made of laminated wood with a top layer of fine beechwood. The top layer of real beechwood veneer means the grain isn't interrupted by glue joints like in solid wood. This creates a uniform color and structure, allowing the understated character and consistently simple shape to stand out. The anthracite-colored cover is made of the innovative Arboblend® plastic (made from renewable resources) and visually separates the housing from the hopper, which is perfectly turned from solid beechwood. A striking feature on the bottom of the hopper is the rosette, which serves as a visual cover for the grinding chamber.
Large Hopper: At first glance, you wouldn't guess that up to 1300 grams of grain can be filled into it. Despite its large capacity, it doesn't appear bulky, but rather blends seamlessly into the overall design of the mill.
Large, Hard Grinding Stones: When it comes to grinding stones, the mill builder relies on the positive experience with corundum ceramic. These grinding stones, made of corundum particles bonded with ceramic mass and fired at high temperatures, are very hard and virtually abrasion-resistant. Their porous surface supports the grinding of the entire grain into fine flour components during the grinding process. At the same time, the surface of the grinding stone always remains sharp, so resharpening is unnecessary.
Powerful Industrial Motor: The grinder with its surface-optimized grinding stones, powered by a 600-watt continuous-running industrial motor, grinds even hard grains like chickpeas, kamut, or rice to a fine grind on the first grinding cycle without any problems.
Adjusting the Flour Fineness: Adjusting the flour fineness is incredibly easy by turning the hopper. For orientation and later reproducibility of the setting, markings with a scale from 1 to 20 are located under the hopper. The highlight of the adjustment mechanism on the LINO and PROFESSIONAL is that no locking screw is required to secure the setting. You don't have to open and close a locking screw every time you change the setting.
Grinding Chamber Easy to Open: It may happen that the grinding stones need to be cleaned if seeds and grains containing a lot of oil have clogged the stones. Then set the mill to very coarse and grind a handful of brown rice or wheat. This releases the grinding stones. If that's not enough for you, you can simply open the grinding chamber by turning the funnel toward "coarse" (scale point 20) and beyond until the funnel can be removed. Then you can remove the upper grinding stone, and the grinding chamber is open.
