The Milwaukee M18FPS55-0 18V Fuel 55mm Plunge Saw (Body Only) is a high-performance cordless plunge saw designed for professional use. It delivers the power of a corded circular saw, capable of cutting 45 metres of 18mm plywood on a single 5.5Ah battery. The saw features dual depth scales (on and off the guide rail), a bevel capacity of -1° to 48°, a scoring function to minimise splintering, and excellent dust extraction compatibility with the DEK26 system. Its flat-sided guard allows close-to-wall cutting, and a retractable riving knife enhances safety during plunge cuts. It’s powered by Milwaukee’s FUEL™ technology, including a POWERSTATE™ brushless motor and REDLINK PLUS™ electronics for optimal performance and durability.

Features:

• The M18 FUEL™ plunge saw delivers the power to rip cut at the same feed rate of an equivalent AC circular saw, capable of cutting 45 metres of 18 mm plywood on a single 5.5 Ah battery charge.
• The depth adjustment features two scales, one for on the rail and one for off the rail, easily adjustable by the press of a button.
• Flat sided upper guard places the blade only 12 mm from the outer edge, allowing very close cut to a wall.
• Designed for optimal dust extraction due to the enclosed guard; compatible with the DEK26 system and supplied with a dust bag.
• Scoring stop allows a 1 mm back cut, minimising splintering in laminated materials.
• Bevel adjustment has stops at 22.5°, 45° and 48°, with a -1° for back cutting.
• Cut line window enables visibility of the blade against the material for precise cuts.
• Easy blade change system locks the switch off and the blade in position while changing.
• Retractable riving knife ensures it stays in position during plunge cuts.
• Variable speed ranges from 2500 rpm to 5600 rpm.
